The Odyssey Jacket V2, refined from the original, is like nothing else on the market. Although it looks like another raincoat the Odyssey is so much more. It was designed in the hills by professional hunters who smash gear harder and faster than any of us. Every detail from the angle of the pocket zips to the waterproof membrane was stringently and ruthlessly developed to produce a hunting jacket that fits better than the others, lasts longer than the others, feels better than the others, and performs like nothing you’ve ever experienced. Made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (RPET) so you can also feel good about the environmental cost.

Odyssey rain gear

I bought Odyssey rain gear around 12 months ago, I was using another brand and continually getting wet when it rained, it would work for about an hour then the moisture would start to leak through.
I went on a hunt that was about 10 hours long and raining the whole time, the Odyssey jacket and pants kept me dry and warm the whole time, I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some high quality rain gear that actually works.

Quality jacket.

The quality of the jacket is great. Haven't tested it in a heavy rain, so cannot make any definitive comments for its waterproof performance. The fit is true to size, if you're not planning to put a lot of layers underneath. I'm 181cm, 83kg, size M fits very well. One minor thing that could be improved is the bottom part of the zipper. The part that gets zipped up has a small rubber attachment that keeps it quite when moving. The bottom one doesn't... this part makes otherwise quite jacket noisy... on every step there is metal on metal noise. This is easily fixable, but surprisingly overlooked when the jacket was tested in the field. Still highly recommended 👍

Awesome jacket and trousers. Very functional, love the pockets. These have kept me warm and dry on Search And Rescue operations where others have complained that their wet weather gear was not effective. I highly rate, and trust, all Hunters Element gear and clothing as it has proven to be high performing and effective in harsh outdoor environments. Highly recommend all H/E products. It is my go to now.

Our over-trousers are designed to be worn over the top of your regular pants. The sizing is therefore larger than our regular pants.

GAITER SIZING

Measure the circumference of calves at the thickest point. The size on the chart is the largest measurement that will fit in the gaiter. Gaiters can be tightened, but cannot be stretched to fit legs larger than the measurements shown on the chart.

WARRANTIES

1 YEAR WARRANTY
If within one year your Hunters Element product is found to have a manufacturer fault in any way, we will repair or replace it for free!

LIFETIME EXTENDED WARRANTY
We are so confident in the quality of our gear that if at any point in its life your Hunters Element kit gets damaged, we'll sort you out. If you've torn it on an antler, punctured it with a thorn or crushed a zip between rocks, we'll repair it (if we can) for a small fee. Some jobs are easier than others though, so you should check out our Product Care Guide to get the best life out of your gear.

RETURNS

DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE:
Returns for manufacturer defects will be accepted. Please try to include all original packaging and materials including boxes, manuals, warranty cards, instructional DVDs, and any other materials in the original shipment or packaging.

INCORRECT MERCHANDISE:
Contact us via e-mail or phone if you received an item different than what was described on the website or is the wrong size, color, or style than what you ordered. Get in touch via our Contact Us page and we'll help you out!

SIZING RETURNS & OTHER:
For online orders where you would like to change the size of one or more products, please contact us first. Once you have filled in a return request and we receive the product back (still in new brand-new condition with the swing tags included), we will issue with a store credit to the same value. You can then purchase the new size and it will be sent out as normal.

For a successful return request please attach a photo of the product showing the defect, or for size swaps, show the product in new condition with the tags on and a description to match.
